Issues to Focus on

I’m hearing from folks in Knox, Holmes, and Coshocton Counties that are concerned about the future of our schools, healthcare system, and being able to afford just day to day essentials plus so many other issues affecting our lives here in House District 98. These topics will probably change over time. My goal is to improve communication with constituents in both directions. To do this, I plan to:

  • Produce a timely newsletter (monthly at a minimum) posted on my website as well as sent to anyone signed up to receive it.

  • Schedule in-person & virtual Town Hall Events across the entire district set many months in advance for planned attendance.

  • Develop a method to communicate current pending legislation along with my research on the details

Quality, Affordable Healthcare

Too many Ohioans worry about whether they can afford to see a doctor or pay a medical bill. Scott will work to expand access to quality care while tackling rising costs, so healthcare is both available and affordable—not a luxury—for everyone in our district.

Lowering Everyday Cost of Living

Families in House District 98 are being squeezed by rising prices on groceries, gas, and utilities. Scott will fight for responsible budgeting and common-sense policies that ease the burden on working people and seniors—so your paycheck goes further and your family can breathe a little easier.

Farmers and small businesses keep our communities strong and our economy moving. Scott will stand up for fair markets, reasonable regulations, and policies that help people who work with their hands and run our local businesses—from the fields to the factory floor.
